ADHD and Diet

Studies show that diet can affect Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, ADHD. Since every child is different the key is to experiment and find out what foods aggravate your child’s ADHD. Studies show that the foods that most likely to cause aggravation are corn, eggs, citrus, dairy and wheat. Remember finding the right diet for your child can take time. It can take up to eight weeks to show any progress with diet change. Also if your child is deficient in certain nutrients such as fatty acids certain supplements can help in having a positive effect on your child’s Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
